Welcome to the Neurovascular Service at Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing. Led by Professor Joseph Harbison, the aim of the Neurovascular Service is as follows:
- To reduce the incidence of stroke in patients at highest risk
- To provide rapid assessment and investigation of treatments for patients with a suspected Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA)
- To provide an alternative to hospital admission
